Are you a makeup beginner? Or do you like makeup but sometimes get confused because the YouTubers use so much makeup that you don’t even know where to begin? Are you starting your first makeup kit?
If you’re starting or have no idea what you should buy first to start to learn about makeup this post is perfect for you! I’m listing the ultimate makeup essencial list for beginners, with these items I’m going to share with you today you can make from natural everyday makeup to party and night looks.
So let’s get started!
For your skin
Yes boys and girls, keeping your skin protected and moisturized is really important before starting you face! Choose the right cream for your skin type and apply before applying any makeup on your face.
The primer is essential for a perfect skin! If you want your makeup to last long you definitely should include this product to your makeup shop list! Not just that, depending on the kind, the primer can minimize pores, redness and lines.
Next must have is foundation, pay attention on the color, undertone and skin type before buying your foundation, you can find reviews and first impressions of almost every foundation that exists, and don’t forget to test the color on cosmetic stores, touch, test and feel the product before buying.
As the name says, we use it to conceal some imperfections, you can use it to highlighter some places and use the colorful concealers to conceal dark circles and redness for example.
The face powder is essential to set you foundation in place, if you’re a beginner I recommend you to use a translucent powder for the whole face, you should own a darker powder too (2 tones darker than your skin tone) for contouring.
A good blush can bring your makeup look for the next level, I already wrote a post here about the perfect blush color for your skin tone, you can read more HERE.
You use shimmery highlight to give that glow to your makeup. You can find it powder or liquid.
Neutral eyeshadow palette
If you’re starting with makeup you should invest in a big neutral palette, this was one of my first makeup palettes ever! I learned a lot with about how to use cold and warm tones. You don’t have to buy a palette with so many shades like this one. I have some neutral palette with 20/25 shades are are amazing for beginners.
Colorful eyeshadow palette
Just like the neutral palette you can have a big colorful palette, then you can start playing with shades and different colors.
This is not a must have but it improves your eyeshadow durability and pigmentation, a lot of people use concealer before applying the eyeshadow, but you should be sure that the concealer is a little more dry, or it will make your eyeshadow looks terrible.
This is a must have, what is more elegant and classic than cat eyes and red lips? If you’re still insecure to do eyeliner you can get a gel or cream ones, they’re easier to use than the liquid eyeliner. And if you would like to practice you can start with black eyeshadow!
You should own at least 3 colors of eye pencils, every color will give you a different effect to your eye look. The essential colors are: black, brown and white (or beige).
Mascara is a must have to finish your eye look, or you can wear it alone in a day you don’t have much time to do makeup, you can buy the mascara according to the effect you want, you can have volumizing, curling, defining and a lot more kinds of mascaras.
I recommend you to use eyeshadow to correct your eyebrows, they give a more natural look to them, but you can use pomades and pencils too, it depends on which one is easier for you.
You can have as many lipsticks shades as you like, in different textures, liquid, matte, glossy, but you should have at least the shades red, nude and pink.
Let’s talk about eyeliner! I love the classic black cat eye look, but it’s nice to change sometimes, what about a red eyeliner? If you would like to try it I chose some pics to inspire you and me!
I hope you liked this inspirations!
See you next time!
Today I am sharing with you a makeup tutorial using the I heart Makeup Chocolate Orange palette, and the makeup is like this:Â chocolate and orange.
Apply the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean all over the lid and blend the edges with a pencil brush.
Use the shade Orange on the crease and blend it with circle motions.
Use Nibble under the last shade, to dark it up.
Blend it on the top of the first shade, this one will be our transition shade.
Use Segment all over your lid.
Apply eyeliner on the bottom lash line but just until the middle of your eye.
Use the shades Orange and Nibble and blend out the eyeliner.
For my inner corner I used a loose powder highliter
Finish with mascara and some falsies!

Let’s talk about blushes today, one of our makeup essentials! Today I am sharing with you the perfect brush for (almost) every skin tone!!
This simple guide will help you to reach a more natural and matches perfectly with your skin tone!!
Fair Skin tone
If you have a fair skin tone the shades for you are from light pink to peach:
Medium Skin tone
From this skin tone a deeper pink, mauve or apricot are the best shades.
Dark Skin tone
A darker skin would require a deeper berry shade between fuchsia to brick red.
And, of course, if you love to use one of those blushes which “are not” for your skin tone you can keep wearing it, it’s not a rule, just a guide when you want to keep your blush more natural!
